Spanked For Self-Denigration
I wonder, is there a spanko man out there who doesn’t immediately reach for the paddle when his woman starts saying crappy stuff about herself? Bethie doesn’t go down this road very often, but when she does, it’s amazing how fast a promise of a spanking nips this destructive little verbal habit in the bud. Angelbrat explains why it happens and why it works:
That shut me up rather quickly, and, amazingly enough, started to lift my mood. It’s hard to say bad things about yourself when there’s a man with a very big paddle making scary promises because you’re unloading on the woman he loves.

Oh yes, you can add another to the list. My boyfriend *does not* tolerate that sort of thing at all. Which is really very nice. :-) Sort of a “how dare you talk about my girl like that” thing…
Heh, ya my boyfriend will do the same thing. If I get into a negative slump, he’ll take the paddle to me. It always cheers me up. Funny how that works :)
