SB: I love the work they do at Sex & Submission, such as these great photos. The shoots are highly erotic and intense, the male and female models are beautiful and surprisingly passionate, and everything looks high-quality. I’ve been thinking of buying a one month membership, but I have no idea if my credit information will be safe, or if I will be swamped with spam. I assume you have some experience with this site – do you think it’s safe to buy a membership?
Thanks!
Ashley, I actually have a lot of confidence in Kink.com, the company that runs this site. They are a San Francisco outfit with quite a social conscience, and a very good business reputation with models, photographers, and porn consumers. So, yes, I think it’s at least as safe as any other purchase you might make over the internet, and safer than many. (For instance, I’m confident they wouldn’t sell your email address to spammers, which is something I don’t trust my credit card companies not to do.)
This is not some fly-by-night outfit — they recently bought a huge stone building in San Francisco to house their company. They do business like professionals — almost certainly better and safer to do business with than your megacorp cell phone company or your cable TV provider.
