Nice retro spanking photo comes from RedRump — which mostly features female dominant spankings. Source is unknown, but RedRump would really like to know.
Update: an alert reader emailed and pointed me to this page, the little pictures at the bottom of which would tend to confirm that this image is from (or, at least, related to) 1949’s My Own True Love as suggested by one of the commenters.

I think this is Phyllis Calvert and Melvin Douglas in My Own True Love (Paramount, 1948). Haven’t seen the film, apparently a rather dreary psychological drama, but I doubt that much spanking occurred.
Many thanks, Galahad! I’ve not been able to find out much about the film – even on IMDB there isn’t much info – and a search for Phyllis Calvert hasn’t revealed any image that would confirm this is her, but I appreciate your suggestion. It’s the best lead I’ve had so far!
