Are Nurses Especially Kinky?
Secret Spanko has been musing about nurses and kink. Odds are this is a peculiarity of individual experience, but I thought it was interesting nonetheless:
I was asked about the last 10 play partners I’d been with and 7 of the ten were nurses, 10 of the last fifteen. Yes, there was the lady in sales, the teacher, etc., but the vast majority of kinky ladies I’ve met are nurses.
I thought that was curious. Why?
…
Nurses are in tune with their bodies. They’re attuned with someone else’s bodies, and they’re perfectly comfortable saying “drop your drawers/panties and bend over. This might sting, but it’s for your own good.”
My theory is that it’s not that nurses are kinkier than an average woman, but they’re more accustomed to working with bodies and the infliction of a little bit of pain.
The nurses I have known have been fairly grounded and authentic. I don’t think it’s a profession that allows for too much self-delusion or body-shyness. If we postulate that a lot of people aren’t frank with themselves and others about their own kinky impulses, maybe nurses are more likely to be comfortable admitting and exploring their own kinkiness?

Nurses are in a profession that makes their marriages and relationships short-lived, so they get around. They also work in a situation where they wield extraordinary power over patients, and then have superiors that wield unreasonable fickle power over the nurses. So plenty of reason for them to to dom or go sub.
