I feel like this may represent some sort of logical fallacy. Perhaps argumentum ad spankum?
The topic under discusssion was “Can free will and predestination exist?”
Alas! Even though she conceded to her opponent, the one with the whip, that all her points were valid, this is one of those debates that seems to go on forever.
Only Logical Positivism shows hope of a way out. But Wittgenstein has long since moved on from his earlier views.
