I don’t know who the five big furry Cossack-looking cavalry officers are supposed to be, but they seem to have brought military precision to their girl-spanking drill:
The artist is Leon Roze, about whom I know little except that he was a French illustrator, mostly of the sort of books we would approve of if we could lay our hands on ’em.
