Leon Trotsky Whipping Two Nude Girls
I am not making this up, although I’m sure someone did. I stumbled over a Russian-language page devoted to old propaganda pictures of a prurient nature, including this “photograph” of Leon Trotsky conducting a public whipping. The Soviets practically invented the concept of “fun with Photoshop” — only they did it with scissors and paste and paintbrushes and photographic negatives. Impossible to say whether this image is a modern whimsy or a Soviet relic:
A memorable image regardless.
Update: Here’s the picture it was photoshopped from.
Yes I think it is genuine as the russians were and for all we know stillare great whippers and spankers, Could do with some more pictures like this

The Russians thru out the ages used the whip, birch, and cane with great pleasure on their womenfolk. Be they naughty ladies of nobility or peasant girls. These women felt the stinging lash of these painful implements on tender bare bottoms, and rightly so. I only wish those good old days were still here.
That photo is definitely doctored. It comes from a classic picture of Trotsky addressing troops during the Russian civil war. The University of Glasgow has an original copy that they acquired in 1937.

Someone just added in a whip and the naked women to the photo.
Of course there was never any doubt that the photo in the post was a composite. But I do thank you for the link to the original, Historian!
Leon Trotsky, the military hero who defeated the
White Russian counter-revolutionary army, was thought to be Lenin’s likely successor. However, Stalin had other plans and began a campaign to malign Trotsky. This doctored photo is likely a part of that campaign. Ultimately, Trotsky was forced to flee Russia and took up residence in Mexico. But Stalin’s hit men tracked him down and whacked him.
